Cliff is very knowledgeable about Lake Pepin and the Chippewa River. My son Jack and I each caught the biggest Smallies and Northerns of our lives. We sprinkled in some nice White Bass and Walleye, too for a great mixed bag!! The accommodations were fantastic and we will come back in 2015.... Thanks again Cliff and Cindy!!!

We stayed at Eagles Cliff with our entire family... 8 adults and 5 children... the house was very well equipped with everything you could think of...kitchen supplies, grill and all accessories, linens, towels, hairdryers, reading materials. The kids were so excited to open closet doors and find numerous games , craft materials and toys! The house was very clean...I am a nurse so I can be a bit picky...it was well cared for and the outside was immaculate! The owners checked on us to see if we needed anything a couple of times and offered suggestions of things to do but werent pesty about it. We would...and have...recommended this vacation spot to friends and family!

Excellent experience. Caught more fish in short trip than ever before! Cliff knows how to put you on the big fish! Accommodations are top notch as is the fishing. And the scenery around the area is amazing. Highly recommend Eagles Cliff Guide Service and Lodging to anyone looking for a great fishing trip!

We had a wedding at a nearby vineyard this last September. The town didn't have a lot of different options for places for a large group to stay, so we decided to look at house rentals. Eagle's Cliff surpassed every expectation we could have had. It was like staying right at home. The house is clean, cozy, roomy, and there wasn't a creature comfort that wasn't made available. We had a group of 10 and had no problem at all with sleeping, bathroom, kitchen, or storage space. Amidst all the people who couldn't wait to get checked out of their hotel room after the wedding was over, we could have stayed another couple nights. Cliff made it as easy as could be to get in touch with him before our trip, and even made an appearance when we checked out. It was great to meet you, Cliff, and thanks again for offering such a great place to stay!

We didn't have much notice for a weekend away. Lodging was very nice, and Cliff and Cindy made our weekend wonderful! We caught fish! Had a blast! Thank you Cliff and Cindy!

We stayed for 3 days in August for our daughter's wedding we had family there from Iowa, Minnesota and Milwaukee and Madison area. The house is very nice and nicely equipped with plenty of kitchen stuff. Cliff and Cindy were great they were available if we needed anything. My sister and her husband from Iowa would like to come back and stay again sometime. The house is very clean and big enough for a lot of people. We had about 30 people over for brunch the morning after the wedding. Thank you again Cliff and Cindy for a great house to stay at.

"Our family (13 of us) arrived for a Memorial Day weekend of rest, relaxation and family fun and that is the memory this rental left us with. We had plenty of room to mix and mingle or go off and enjoy ourselves in separate parts of the home. Every supply or gadget had been thought of by our lovely hosts Cindy and Cliff. The property was clean, neat and made you want to stay longer. We went fishing with Cliff both Saturday and Sunday and had a wonderful time on the river catching lots of fish. He is patient and very helpful with everyone. Cindy and Cliff understand how to be attentive hosts without getting in your way at all. We would highly recommend this lovely accommodation along with Cliff, the great fishing guide. We could easily see making this a yearly event for our family. Thanks again for letting your home be our home for the weekend."

Cliff could not have been more accommodating! Had a great time and would recommend Eagle's Cliff Guide Service if you are in the Lake Pepin area. We will go back!

A friend and I stayed in the lower level of this charming home while on a guided fishing trip with Cliff Haugland (owner).  The lower level was very comfortable and well maintained.  The home is nonsmoking which we found to be a plus.  The lower level has two private bedrooms, a bathroom with shower, an open kitchen and living area with TV and internet service.  You will find the kitchen well equipped, along with a stove, microwave, refrigerator and dishwasher for your convenience.
The lower level has a private entrance from the rear of the home, while the upper level is in the front.  The neighborhood is very quiet and peaceful.  The Laura Ingalls Wilder Museum is only a few blocks away.  You are ½ a mile away from the Pepin Marina.  If you enjoy fishing I would recommend you contact Cliff.  He and his wife Cindy were very willing and available for whatever we needed.  We went fishing with Cliff daily while we were there.  We caught many small and largemouth bass as well as several Northern Pikes. You will find Cliff very well-informed about fishing and willing to share his knowledge with you.  Highly Recommended.

"This beautiful home in Pepin was perfect for a weekend with friends (5 families). The home came equipped with everything we could have needed and then some. The home was very family friendly. We had 9 children in varying ages. They loved the bunk-beds and toys/books available to use. Cliff and Cindy were very accommodating and available for anything we needed! Thanks for your hospitality. We will definitely be planning another visit!"

"We DID enjoy our time in Pepin very much!  I was absolutely amazed to see Cliff at the house just as we were in the final stages of packing to leave.  I just figured your neighbor would do the final checkup.  Everything was perfect for our mini-vacation.  Everyone in our family loved your home.  It was so nice to have the downstairs for the children to get away from the rest of us.   We did do a few extra things on Saturday.  Some of the adults went to the winery. Later two carloads traveled to the toy store, and one carload checked out Laura I. W.'s birthplace."

"My family really appreciated the hospitality of Cliff and Cindy. They went out their way to make sure everything was in order for my family's weekend vacation and we had a great time. The house was very well maintained and spacious enough for seven adults. Highly recommended!"

"House was very accommodating. There were 13 of us, and all had a comfortable bed. Small yard, not room enough to play there. Really enjoyed fresh vegetables from garden. For ease of use and cleanliness of house, we would surely recommend to others...Pepin itself had interesting and unique shops.
Visited winery and scenic bluffs by Alma.  Overall a comfortable stay. We did enjoy seeing eagles fly every day we were in Pepin."
